A powerful earthquake has struck in south-eastern, Turkey and Syria, killing hundreds as they slept and trapping many others

More than 21,000 people are now known to have died after Monday's earthquakes in southern Turkey and northern Syria. 

 

Without shelter, water, fuel or electricity, the World Health Organization fears many survivors could yet lose their lives. Families Relief are on the ground and responding to the daily needs. 

 

At this stage we will be helping with emergency food packs, and as the assessment continues we will start on the most needed items.
