Lebanon hosts the largest number of refugees per capita. 

These refugees are from Ethiopia, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Sudan and other countries. 

 

Life was already a challenge with a lack of basic necessities like food and water and this was only aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the port explosion in Beirut.
