Women are usually left with the burden of picking up the pieces after a natural or manmade disaster. Although, due to cultural and local customs and traditions, most women are not able to do the things men would be allowed or able to do, to support their families, but due to extreme poverty, in most third world countries, women have to increasingly seek work outside the home to maintain their families.
In order to give them the best chance to earn a living, we organise appropriate vocational training for women, which teaches them relevant skills to compete in the job market and find work.
We support women in the following countries: Palestine, Kashmir (occupied), Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Although you may choose a country we prefer you to allow us to decide where to use your money as we may need to shift support from one country to another due to circumstances, without notice.
